ECC Chief Becomes Chairman of BCA
Birmingham, UK (PRWEB) June 30, 2006
Tony Waldron, Midlands based Managing Director of Executive Communication Centres (ECC), has been appointed as Chairman of the Business Centre Association (BCA).
Tony has been an integral member of the BCA for the duration of his 15 years within the serviced office industry and a main board member since 2005.
The BCA was established in 1989 to represent the business centre and managed workspace sector throughout the UK, an industry which is traditionally involved in helping smaller and growing companies to compete with their larger competitors.
The association specialises in providing support and guidance to owners and operators of centres, whilst setting industry standards and encouraging a network of excellence.
He is already closely involved with West Midlandss business groups and commented, I am extremely delighted with my new appointment.
Almost on every occasion where a new business centre is established, a large number of new jobs are created and the contribution to the local economy is significant. This is a very important, yet often overlooked sector of the UK economy.
I will be working closely with my fellow board members and the whole of the support team at the BCA, to ensure that our members are taking full advantage of the many services and facilities that the Association has to offer.
Tony has been managing director of ECC, the Midlands leading five-star serviced office specialists, since 1997, having formerly directed other large serviced sector companies throughout the UK.
In addition to offices in the East and West Midlands and in Berkshire, ECC have two London based centres at Bunhill Row in EC1 and London City Airport in the Royal Albert Docks.
